I first met Ann over 40 years ago at a show where she was showing Schipperkes with daughter Sandra. We became friends and subsequently on trips to UK I always called to see her, often staying overnight, and we had long in-depth discussions about the breed, its history, and the personalities (both human and canine). She had an incredible unmatched knowledge of the breed and she helped me immensely in my research. I will miss our telephone chats. She was a brave, stoic, no nonsense woman and a legend in Schipperke circles. My condolences are extended to Simon and Jeff. Bernard Fears -NZ
